Director of the Power Systems Laboratory
Professor, School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
Dimitrios Lampridis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, on July 26, 1958.
He received the Dipl.-Eng. Degree and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece, in 1981 and 1989 respectively.
During 1982-2001 he has been working at first as a research assistant and later as Lecturer, as Assistant Professor and as Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the AUTh, Greece.
Since 2008 he has been Professor and since 2010 Director of the Power Systems Lab (PSL) at the same Department.
During the academic years 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 he was head of the Division of Electric Energy of the ECE Department of AUTh.
He has written or co-authored two scientific books and more than 100 transactions and conference papers in international scientific magazines and conferences.
He is a reviewer of several power systems related scientific journals:
