StoRES aims to increase the PV penetration in the energy mix of islands and rural areas in the MED by integrating PV and energy storage systems under an optimal market policy by removing the constraints of grid reliability.

StoRES Project – Final Event

The StoRES project Consortium, part of which is the Power Systems Laboratory of AUTH, is pleased to announce the organization of its Final Event entitled “Innovative solutions for fostering low-carbon strategies and increasing renewable energy sources in the energy mix of the MED area” in Cagliari, on 28 May 2019 from 8:30 until 15:00

MEnS is a project conceived in order to provide and enhance the NZEB skills of building managers such as engineers and architects through a series of accredited training activities developed by 9 universities and 3 market players.

INCREASE wants to focus on how to manage renewable energy sources in low and medium voltage networks, provide ancillary services in particular voltage control and the provision of reserve. The INCREASE project is funded by the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission

PV-net is aimed at developing better energy policy for the promotion of renewable energies in the Mediterranean countries, targeting the best and most cost efficient use of PV technology. This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, through the Interreg MED programme.
