Γεννήθηκε στον Άγιο Πέτρο του νομού Κιλκίς το 1989. Το 2007 ξεκίνησε τις σπουδές του στο Τμήμα Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών & Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών της Πολυτεχνικής Σχολής του Α.Π.Θ. απ’ όπου και αποφοίτησε τον Απρίλιο του 2013 με γενικό μέσο όρο 8.99/10. Το 2018 ολοκλήρωσε τη διδακτορική του διατριβή στο Τμήμα Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών & Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών της Πολυτεχνικής Σχολής του Α.Π.Θ. με τίτλο: Προηγμένες τεχνικές ελέγχου με χρήση μεθόδων βελτιστοποίησης σε έξυπνα δίκτυα ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας με μεγάλη διείσδυση διανεμημένης παραγωγής. Κατά την εκπόνηση της διατριβής του υπήρξε υπότροφος της Επιτροπής Ερευνών του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης (2016-17) και του Ιδρύματος Κρατικών Υποτροφιών (2017-18).

Από το 2018 απασχολείται ως επιστημονικός συνεργάτης στο Εργαστήριο Συστημάτων Ηλεκτρικής Ενέργειας του Τμήματος Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών & Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών του Α.Π.Θ. Επιπλέον, είναι υπότροφος του Ιδρύματος Κρατικών Υποτροφιών για την εκπόνηση μεταδιδακτορικής έρευνας με τίτλο: Ολοκληρωμένη μεθοδολογία βέλτιστης ρύθμισης τάσης στα σύγχρονα δίκτυα ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας.

Είναι μέλος του ΤΕΕ και της ΙΕΕΕ.
