Georgios C. Kryonidis

Georgios C. Kryonidis was born in Agios Petros, Kilkis, Greece, on December 7, 1989. In 2007, he started his studies at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He received his diploma with GPA 8.99/10 on April, 2013. In 2018, he received his Ph.D. degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Dissertation title: Advanced and οptimized control techniques for smart grids with high distributed generation penetration). During his Ph.D. studies, he was a scholar of the Research Committee of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2016-17) and of the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (2017-18).

Since 2018, he has been a reseach fellow at the Power Systems Laboratory of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Moreover, he is a scholar of the Greek State Scholarships Foundation for post-doctoral research entitled: Unified methodology for optimal voltage regulation in modern grids.

He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and IEEE.
